Diliana is a director and producer with a deep love for visual storytelling. Her work includes the Emmy-nominated opening title sequence for Fox’s New Girl. She has created award-winning short films such as BLUE MOON (2022), which reflects on how Alzheimer’s shapes family relationships, and SWEETHEART (2021), a personal exploration of the female psyche and the lifelong tension between self-protection and social expectation. She also directed two episodes of the quick-witted, raunchy comedy series MARRIAGE OF INCONVENIENCE (2023) for Dekkoo. Her latest film, Please, Stay, made in collaboration with Taylor Lewis, received the Los Angeles Short Film Grant and will begin production in early 2026.
Diliana also produced the independent feature 1-800-HOT NITE (2022), a heartfelt coming-of-age story that premiered at the Santa Barbara Film Festival and screened at Deauville, Heartland, and Dances With Films, where it won the Audience Award. The film is now streaming on Showtime.
Through Gravina Films, the company she runs with her husband, Jack Gravina, she develops and produces work across genres. Their interactive VR horror series THE EXORCISM OF ALLIE FAY (2020) for AmazeVR earned top ratings, and they continue to build a slate of new narrative projects.
With over a decade of experience, Diliana has also led wide-ranging branded and theatrical marketing campaigns, collaborating with A-list talent and major production companies, agencies, and networks. No matter the scale of the project, she is committed to increasing female representation on set and creating a space where collaborators feel welcomed, supported, and inspired to bring their best work forward.
